1. Offer

You visit my blog daily or susbscribe to it to get my post daily by email.


2. How the sale for the highest bid works

Every daily blog painting has a minimum price of 150 Euro (in the EU: incl. VAT). and remains available from the time of publishing on the blog www.edwardbgordon.blogspot.com until 8 pm local time Berlin, Germany, the following day. During this time frame a purchase option through email and a bid for the minimum price of 150 Euro or higher can be placed. Bids are only accepted in full Euro steps. At the end of the bidding term the highest bidder receives a confirmation email with all details. The achieved sales price contains apart from the painting a beautiful white gift box and protective packaging.


Mail costs are added to the sales price.

15 Euro to US (insured for 35 Euro)

Courier Service to US available (fully insured)

6,30 Euro as DHL package within Germany

Between 9,00 and 15 Euro within EU depending on postal national regulations, please ask for mail costs for other countries. The exact postage cost will be confirmed in the purchase confirmation.


Customs and other duties may apply and can vary for each country. Please check with your local authorities in advance. Required sealing of letter is not possible.

This is a sale for the highest bid. Herewith the buyer receives subject to the minimum price the identification of benefit. The minimum bid does in no case represent a binding price statement nor a binding offer of contract.


The bids will not be made public. A „hidden bidding“ takes place. All bids will be collected until 8 pm the following day. During the bidding term every interested buyer can get information through email on the actual highest bid. There is, however, no entitlement to receiving the actual status of the bidding.


Shall there be equal bids by more than one intentional buyer, the first bidder amongst them receives the confirmation.


Bids under 150 Euro can be sent in, but do not have any claim on being accepted, or winning the sale, or closing a sales contract. They are however nevertheless legally binding.

New inital bids that come in seconds before 8 pm local time Berlin Germany do prolong the sale for another 3 minutes if other bidders exist.


3. Conclusion of contract

A contract is concluded automatically with the highest bidder after the end of the bidding term. Please only bid for a painting if you can afford to pay for it. The highest bidder receives a confirmation email.

Please read the confirmation email thoroughly. There, you an also find additional information on the right of withdrawal.


4. Terms of Payment

The sales price is due before the delivery of the painting (prepayment). The payment has to be made within two weeks after receiving the confirmation email, the latest.

After the confirmation, we will send you through PayPal a payment request for the complete costs. PayPal enables the payment in Euro even if you are located outside the Euro zone. Bank Transfer is also possible, but please make sure that all bankcharges are billed to the sender of the payment. We recommend paypal.


Please note: Only full advance payment of the total price confirmed in the purchase confirmation is accepted.

Partial payment does not extend the pre-payment period of 14 days after the confirmation. No installments. No deductions. No overpayments.


In case of still unpaid purchases after the prepayment period we reserve the right to reject further bids for other paintings until the payment has been settled.


We reserve the right to withdraw from a sale within the legal conditions of e.g. non-payment.


  1. 5.Delivery Date


Delivery by Mail only - daily paintings cannot be picked up.


Please allow a minimum of four weeks until we can post your painting. As each painting is put onto the blog on the same day that I paint it, the paint will still be very fresh and needs time to dry sufficiently. After this drying time and when your payment has arrived, I will send the painting and inform you about the shipment to the delivery address supplied by you.


To document each painting and its condition it will be photographed before it is sent to you. Should you observe on arrival any damage in the package causing harm to the painting please let us know immediately.


You receive an unique original painting by me. Providently, I may however point out, that all copyright and further usage rights for and of this painting do remain with me.

German copyright law applies! In case of a future sale we may point you to the duties regulated in Folgerechtsregelung in paragraph 26 UrhG (resale right regulation in the German copyright law).

5 einfache Schritte zu Ihrem Bild:


1. Angebotsbenachrichtigung

Sie besuchen meinen blog täglich oder abonnieren den blog um meinen post täglich per Email zu erhalten.

2. Ablauf des Verkaufs gegen Höchstgebot

Jedes Tagesbild hat einen Mindestpreis von 150 Euro (inklusive gesetzlicher MwSt.) und bleibt ab der Veröffentlichung im blog www.edwardbgordon.blogspot.com bis zum Folgetag 20 Uhr erhältlich. Während dieses Zeitrahmens kann eine Kaufabsicht per Email und ein Gebot über den Mindestpreis von 150 Euro oder höher abgegeben werden. Gebote werden nur in vollen Euro-Schritten akzeptiert. Nach Ablauf der Bieterfrist erhält der Höchstbietende eine Bestätigungsemail mit allen Details. Der erzielte Verkaufspreis umfasst neben dem Bild außerdem eine weiße Geschenkbox sowie eine sichere Umverpackung.

Hinzu kommen die

Versandkosten, die zum Verkaufspreis addiert werden:

Zwischen 9,00 Euro und 15 Euro innerhalb Europas je nach den postalischen Vorschriften des Bestimmungslandes.Die genauen Portokosten werden individuell in der Kaufbestätigung angegeben, vorab oder für andere Länder auf Anfrage

Im Fall eines Verlustes der Sendung im Postversand kann nur der von der Post zurückerstattete Betrag an den Käufer erstattet werden. Beim Postpaket ist das z. B. nur der Nettorechnungsbetrag. Weitere Informationen finden Sie auf www.dhl.de

Zoll- und andere Gebühren können bei der Einfuhr anfallen und sind Länderspezifisch. Bitte informieren Sie sich hierzu vorab bei Ihren zuständigen Behörden. Versiegelungen sind nicht möglich. Bilder im Wert über 999,99 Euro im Versand in Drittländer müssen ausserdem kostenpflichtig zollausfuhr abgefertigt werden.

Es handelt sich um einen Verkauf gegen Höchstgebot. Hierbei wird dem Käufer unter Einhaltung des Mindestpreises die Leistungsbestimmung gemäß § 315 I BGB übertragen. Das Mindestgebot stellt in keinem Fall eine verbindliche Angabe des Preises und auch kein verbindliches Vertragsangebot dar.


Die Gebote werden nicht öffentlich gemacht. Es findet ein „verstecktes Bieten“ statt. Alle Gebote werden bis 20 Uhr des Folgetages gesammelt. Jeder Interessent kann sich während des Bietzeitraums über das aktuelle Höchstgebot durch Anfrage per Email informieren. Es besteht jedoch kein Anspruch auf  Übermittlung der aktuellen Gebotshöhe.


Werden von mehreren Kaufinteressenten gleich hohe Gebote abgegeben, erhält das als erstes eingegangene Gebot dieser Gruppe den Zuschlag.


Gebote unter 150 Euro können abgegeben werden, haben aber keinen Anspruch auf Annahme oder Zuschlag. Sie sind jedoch gleichwohl rechtsverbindlich.

Neue Einstiegsgebote die Sekunden vor 20 Uhr eintreffen, verlängern den Verkauf um 3 Minuten, falls bereits Bieter vorhanden sind.


3. Vertragsschluss

Ein Vertrag kommt mit dem Höchstbietenden automatisch nach Ablauf des Bietzeitraums zustande. Bitte bieten Sie nur auf ein Bild, wenn Sie auch die Mittel zur Bezahlung haben. Der Höchstbietende erhält eine Bestätigungsmail. Lesen Sie die Bestätigungsmail aufmerksam durch; dort finden Sie auch nochmals Informationen zum Widerrufsrecht.


4. Zahlungsmodalitäten

Der Kaufpreis ist vor der Lieferung des Bildes zu entrichten (Vorkasse). Die Zahlung des Kaufpreises hat spätestens zwei Wochen nach Erhalt der Bestätigungsmail zu erfolgen. Sie können per Banküberweisung bezahlen. Außerdem ermöglichen wir die Zahlung per PayPal.


Bei Auslandsüberweisungen achten Sie bitte darauf, dass alle Bankgebühren vom Absender der Zahlung zu tragen sind.

Wir empfehlen bei Auslandszahlungen die Zahlung per paypal.

Es wird nur die Zahlung des kompletten, in der Kaufbestätigung ausgewiesenen Rechnungsbetrages akzeptiert. Teilzahlungen verlängern nicht die Vorauszahlungsfrist von 14 Tagen ab der Kaufbestätigung. Keine Ratenzahlungen. Keine Abzüge. Keine Überzahlungen.


Liegen noch offene Verkäufe vor, die nicht in der Vorauszahlungsfrist bezahlt wurden, behalten wir uns vor, bis zum Ausgleich dieser, keine Gebote mehr für andere Bilder anzunehmen.


Wir behalten uns das Recht vor, von einem Verkauf zurücktreten, wenn dafür die rechtlichen Grundlagen vorliegen, z.B. im Fall von Nichtbezahlung des Kaufpreises.


5. Lieferfrist


Nur Versand - Die Tagesbilder können nicht persönlich abgeholt werden.


Bitte planen Sie mindestens vier Wochen ein, bis das Bild verschickt werden kann, da jedes Bild an dem Tag, an dem ich es male, in den blog gestellt wird und richtig durchtrocknen muss, bevor ich es versenden kann. Sobald es soweit ist und auch Ihre Zahlung vorliegt, schicken wir das Bild im versicherten Versand an die genannte Lieferadresse.


Zu Dokumentationszwecken und um die Unversehrtheit festzuhalten, wird jedes Bild vor dem Versand fotografiert. Sollten Sie bei Erhalt der Sendung eine Beschädigung der Verpackung, die in einem Schaden am Bild resultiert, feststellen, informieren Sie uns bitte sofort.


Sie erhalten mit dem Bild ein einzigartiges Original. Rein vorsorglich weise ich aber darauf hin, dass sämtliche Urheberrechte und weitere Nutzungsrechte (z. B. für Bearbeitungen des Motivs) bei mir verbleiben. Im Falle eines Weiterverkaufs beachten Sie bitte die Folgerechtsregelung in Paragraph 26 UrhG.
